History of Life

Our mission, vision and programming carry on former Pennsylvania Governor George M. Leader's dream of lowering the high incarceration rate in Pennsylvania.

The L.I.F.E., Inc. ministry and its associated curriculum is a newly created re-entry ministry offering for county jails and the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. 

LIFE, Inc. is now eight years old and its roots are planted in the household of Christ Community Church since 1985, when the former pastor, Larry Titus, founded Second Chance Ministries.  In 1999, former PA. Governor, George M. Leader, helped develop and financially support its prison program, Walking Your Faith.  In 2013, Marcia & Ed Sinkovitz assumed the faith-based, life skills program and re-formatted the curriculum as L.I.F.E. (Leading In Faith & Education).  L.I.F.E. is now one of the very few faith-based, life skills programs focusing on successful re-entry in the county prisons and Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.
